Weight Loss Mythbusters

Myth # 1: “Cardio is the best way to lose weight”…
De-bunk: In 4 years of university study I was taught that low intensity, long duration cardio works for weight loss, but in practice I have learned that there are actually far more effective and simply better ways of losing fat tissue!

Myth # 2: “Diet and exercise are equally important for weight loss”…
De-bunk: Another important fact practice has taught me is that nutrition is simply the most important aspect of a weight loss plan, which out-performs exercise time again - training & exercise are merely partners of good nutrition.

Myth # 3: “Now that I’m training, I can enjoy all the left-overs from the Christmas table”…
De-bunk: Diet and sub-par eating habits cannot be off-set by training!

In the final analysis, the equation for fat loss is simplified as follows:energy intake vs. energy expenditure

...with the first part of the equation being the most important! Give me the opportunity to guide you down the path of a lifestyle change! I would love to help you to achieve lasting results with a training plan that makes sense to you and that stretches well beyond just your New Year resolutions.
