Feel your way to better putting

How many times have you heard how important it is to have “feel” on the greens? And how many hours have you spent trying to “develop” this feel?

Well, Steph is delighted to present his tried & tested and purposeful drill, which is guaranteed to help you to combine the different elements which are involved in creating feel on the putting stroke.

The Drill Act One - place 3 balls 4m from the hole putt as shown below

The Drill Act Two – place 3 balls 6m from the hole and repeat

The Drill Act Three – place 3 balls 8m from the hole and repeat

Putt the 1st ball whilst looking at the hole

Putt the 2nd with the right hand only

Putt the third like a normal putt

The 1st & 2nd putts break down the role of the eyes and hands in your stroke.

The 3rd putt helps you “feel” your way to better control on the greens.
